Village Altonodji to Open January 2007!

Village Altonodji dorm construction

Construction progresses on the first and second dormitories.

Greetings to our partners in the work of the Lord in Chad! We pray that you will all share in our joy at the opening of the orphanage center in Moundou, Chad, on January 7, 2006. As a result of your generosity in responding to the Spirit of the Lord, the Church of Chad will be administering the first native-established orphanage center in Chad!

On behalf of all the believers in Chad, and especially on behalf of those children who will finally find a home of their own at the Center, we thank you for your generous support

over the last year. Your obedience in responding to the Lord's urging has enabled the first phase of the orphanage center (including a 5-room dormitory for the children, an administration building, a dining hall and kitchen, and a guard house), and nearly 80% of the second phase, to be completed well in advance of projections. Now, with your continued support, the Church in Chad will be able to complete the second phase of the

orphan center (to include a second 5-room dormitory, a kindergarten, a chapel, a widow's house, a director's house, and a primary school). We praise God for what already has been accomplished through you!

While so much has been achieved already, there is still much more to do to equip the Orphan Center in its work. We have compiled a "Christmas Gift List" for the Center that we hope and pray you will bring before the Lord to see how He might lead you to help. Specifically, the following items are still urgently needed for the operation of the Center in January:

We knew as we embarked upon this journey of faith, that it would be only by God's grace that this work could be accomplished. It is only God who is able to break through the barriers of language and culture to unite believers on both sides of the ocean to accomplish His work. By coming together inthe loving Spirit of Jesus Christ to accomplish this work for Chad's neediest, God is able to demonstrate to the

world the power of His love. He truly has proven again and again that where He guides, He also provides!

We pray this Christmas season will bring the peace and joy of Christ into your homes and families. Please know you are continuously in our prayers, and we ask you to keep Mission:Chad and the Church of Chad in yours. We especially ask for your prayers for our current President and Treasurer, John and Vivi Wickberg, as they embark upon an extended visit to Chad at the end of the month.

On behalf of those orphaned children who have lost the love of their parents in this life, we thank you for your past support and pray that you will continue to partner with us to complete God's work in Chad. It is a first step towards seeing the power of the Gospel in the land and to proclaim the Lord's glorious Light. Through your faithful support the next

generation of Bible teachers can be trained for leadership, missionaries can be sent out, and Chad's neediest children will know first-hand the love of the Great Father above as He continues to provide for them through you.

We pray you will be richly rewarded for your generosity at the Throne of grace, where every nation, tribe and tongue will meet in the Day of The Lord!

Yours in His Service,

The Mission:Chad Board
