Scott Hafemann – President - Currently, the Mary Rockefeller Distinguished Professor of New Testament Theology at the Gordon-Conwell Seminary in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Hafemann received his Doctorate of Theology degree in 1985. He schedules an annual trip to Chad so he can teach at the Shalom Evangelical School of Theology. Dr. Hafemann is available for speaking events on behalf of Mission:Chad.
Elisabeta Vivi Wickberg - Vice President - Trained in nuclear physics in Romania, Mrs. Wickberg came to the United States in 1977. Once in the U.S., she obtained her masters degree in computer science, a field in which she continued to work until 2004, when she became a missionary, together with her husband John.
John Wickberg - Treasurer - Has practiced for many years in his chosen field of computer programming, including at such companies as Price Waterhouse Coopers and the Chicago Board of Options Exchange. In 2004, Mr. Wickberg left the private sector to become a Bible translator in North Carolina, along with his wife, Vivi, where he is responsible for managing a software development department.
Nancie Hoffman - Assistant Treasurer - Received her Juris Doctor degree in 1981 and her L.L.M. Taxation degree in 1996. She has been employed as an attorney with Allstate Insurance Company since 1985 where she practices in the area of reinsurance law.
Steven Hoffman - Communications - Has had a long career in marketing and applications engineering of high-tech industrial controls primarily in the manufacturing sector. In 2004, he became Mission:Chad's director of communications, and is responsible for producing Mission:Chad's promotional material, including fundraising videos, brochures, e-mail newsletters and web site development and maintenance.
David Detert - Member - Is retired from a long career in business development and executive management. Trained in electrical engineering, most of his career was focused on consulting and management in the telecommunications area, ending with a 5 1/2 year stint in France followed by 5 years as member of a French corporate board after retirement. An active churchman, he has taught many years at the adult level in Sunday church schools, and served as the chairman of the international board of the World Evangelical Alliance during 1998 - 2003. He currently serves on the board of the Christian Community Foundation of France, and is a consultant with The Seed Company, a Wycliffe entity.
