Village Altonodji School Zone

The schools at Village Altonodji are highly regarded in the community for academic excellence and Christian training. All the teachers are certified by the Chadian government. At present, grades K through 10 are offered. Grades 11, 12 and 13 will be made available as the children grow into them. In addition to all the resident orphans attending schools, there are 167 kids coming from the surrounding community. Tuition paid by nonresident students helps to defray the costs to run the schools. There are 15 Kindergartners, 153 kids in grades 1-6, and 122 kids in grades 7-10. In addition to providing for the education of the resident orphans, the schools provide a tremendous service to the community and serves as an outreach to those families who are not Christians.
